The classification of arthritis treatment in Traditional Chinese Medicine is very diverse. There are many ways to classify.

But can be divided into 3 basic types below
TCM arthritis treatment diagram:
  1. Acupuncture for Arthritis
  2. Chinese herbs for arthritis
  3. Qigong and Tai Chi for arthritis

The nature of the three main methods

1. Direct:
Considering herbal medicines, Traditional Chinese Medicine treating arthritis is similar to Western medicine. Because the drug will directly affect the problem of arthritis.

In terms of additional measures for treating arthritis:
Western medicine has additional measures during the treatment of arthritis, which is pain relief by TENS / Acu-TENS, along with gentle exercise.

Oriental medicine has Acupuncture for pain relief, qigong exercises and Tai Chi for blood circulation (Qi circulates).

2. Indirect:
Combination measures aimed at Jing-Qi-Shen, thereby balancing Yin and Yang. This means regaining the body's hidden strength (internal force). When latent power is restored, the effectiveness of the drug also increases.

Therefore, with the three main methods of combination of the above Chinese Medicine, it is more powerful than Western medicine. Because Western medicine usually only treated the disease, and Eastern medicine treated both directly and indirectly.
